During this week expert trainers, including Interhealth’s Director of Health Services, Ted Lankester, will cover the key issues and responses required to ensure water, sanitation and hygiene are provided to those in disaster situations.

Course covers:

  • 27th June - Public Health with Dr Ted Lankester
  • 28th June - Hygiene Promotion with Suzanne Ferron
  • 29th June - Water Supply with Sarah House
  • 30th June - Sanitation
  • 1st July - Water Quality Testing (half day) and Cholera Response with Cheryl McDonald (half day)

This series of workshops will help ensure that solutions for water, sanitation and hygiene are suitable, effective and sustainable, based on existing practices and with input from local communities.
