We are a specialist London based medical charity and provide healthcare and support to many of the major international agencies involved in humanitarian relief and poverty reduction across the world. Our services are tailored to those working in the UK and Worldwide and include:

Our Expertise

Over the past twenty years, InterHealth has built up a bank of experience in caring for those who make a difference, both in the UK and internationally. Many of our team members are widely recognised within their fields.

Our medical team has a wealth of international experience and expertise in travel medicine and tropical diseases. They are actively involved in leading research projects and also consult for a range of national and international bodies, including the World Health Organisation, UNAIDS and the National Travel Health Network and Centre. The vast majority of our team have worked internationally, placing them in the best position to understand the specific concerns of volunteers, development and aid workers in the field.

Our Occupational Health team have a range of experience across the corporate and charity sectors, dealing with sensitive issues around ill-health retirement and sickness absence or work-related illness, ensuring that those striving to make a difference are cared for and rehabilitated back to work in the most effective way possible. They share their expertise through various means including lecturing for the Royal College of Nursing and publishing articles through Occupational Health Magazine.

Our Psychological Health team are specialists in working with agencies and personnel in international relief and development and faith based service. Between them they have significant field experience. They are familiar with the common readjustment issues faced by volunteers and staff returning home after international assignment.
