Travel Clinic Doctor & Mission Health Lead

Part-time - 3 days per week

Salary: £52k, per annum, pro rata

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an understanding of whole person healthcare as well as having the ability to work as part of a team. Experience of working overseas in the mission sector is essential for this post and you would also need to feel comfortable working in a multi faith based setting.

Reception & Client Support - Maternity Cover

Salary: £18,000 - £19,000 per annum (5 days per week)

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to cover a role within our reception and client support team during maternity leave. Your role will be to provide full support services to InterHealth's clinical staff, patients and client organisations. We are interested in high quality skills and experience in customer service, reception adn administration with a strong emphasis on teamwork. A background of working in a clinical setting is desirable but not essential.

Business Development Intern

Looking for a driven, commercially savvy business development intern!

InterHealth is looking to recruit an ambitious and commercially aware intern to manage the business development of its room bookings business unit.

InterHealth is a medical charity providing health and wellbeing services to over 200 international organisations involved in poverty reduction and humanitarian work around the world. InterHealth’s Room Bookings business has provided much needed surplus for the past few years, enabling us to invest in important service developments to improve the health and wellbeing of international humanitarian workers. There is still tremendous capacity to increase the turnover of this business and make an even greater contribution to InterHealth’s mission, including funding our exciting MyHealth project.

Working to the Director of Client Services, our new Business Development Intern will take a lead role in maximising income generation from InterHealth’s Room Bookings business unit including: 

  • Writing a business plan for InterHealth’s facilities business
  • Implementing the marketing and communications plan for InterHealth’s facilities with a target of increasing bookings by 30% and maximizing capacity
  • Working in collaboration with InterHealth’s Reception Team to improve the service we deliver to clients

Community Health Global Network (CHGN) Intern

Community Health Global Network (CHGN) is an initiative of InterHealth. Whilst InterHealth provides whole person healthcare to individuals and organisations working overseas, CHGN supports those specifically involved in primary healthcare.

This is an exciting opportunity to join CHGN: a global network of health workers, health service providers and consultants who are passionate about building the capacity of primary health care in developing countries. This is an ideal post for someone with an interest in a career in global health

The successful candidate will gain skills and experience in a learning environment. With many new opportunities opening up for CHGN, the successful candidate will work alongside the Operational Manager on specific projects and develop skills in communications, fundraising and web content management.

Main responsibilities:

  • To provide administrative support for ongoing CHGN team activities and            communications
  • To add and update web content
  • To plan, develop and implement 1-2 fundraising activities
  • To develop and implement a PR/communications strategy, to help raise awareness  about CHGN and increase its membership

You will have strong communication, writing and IT skills and be highly motivated. You will be interested in primary healthcare and sympathetic with the Christian values that underpin the work of CHGN. Experience within the charity sector is also desirable.

This internship is a part-time role, 2-4 days (flexible) for 6 months. You will be reimbursed for any expenses (lunch and London travel).
