What is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
CBT is evidenced to be effective in the treatment of mild to moderate depression and to increase effectiveness of treatment when combined with antidepressants. It is recommended in UK by NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) for treatment of several of the common psychological conditions.

Our CBT practitioner, Jackie Buie is a trained, experienced counsellor, who is adding CBT to the services she can offer.

Please note Psychological Health continues to offer the full range of services in review and debrief, counselling, work-life balance, stress management and confidential work review as well as trauma management.
