In addition to supporting relief travelling volunteers and mission partners, InterHealth works closely with the UK staff of mission organisations, ensuring that they fulfil their duty of care towards their staff, fulfil current UK employment legislation, maximise productivity and ensure that costs related to ill-health are minimised.

Our occupational health team of 5 specialists are able to address these issues. They currently provide comprehensive Occupational Health Services to many UK based not-for-profit organisations as well as to aid, development and environmental groups.

The team is equipped with specialist skills to help boost the performance of mission organisations by reducing health risks at work, improving attendance, enabling and supporting rehabilitation and helping to prevent ill-health caused by work. This is achieved through a range of services including pre-employment health screening, sickness absence referrals, work-station assessments and ill-health retirement reviews.
