We are committed to working together with key personnel to understand our clients’ specific health risks, current policies and management strategy, and to ensure that our services meet their specific needs. We have a solution-focused approach to OH and if we cannot currently deliver a service, we will try to find a solution either internally or externally, using local health care services or other OH practitioners/providers.
The key to positive, effective OH service delivery is the provision of professional, independent and confidential advice and record keeping. Our OH Practitioners maintain the high standards of protecting employee health information as required by their professional bodies whilst at the same aiming to provide information to the organisation that will assist them in managing employee health issues effectively.
Pre-employment Health Assessments help to ensure that prospective employees are fit and safe to undertake their proposed role, that work activities are not likely to have any adverse effects on existing health conditions and disabilities, and that reasonable adjustments can be considered by the organisation. Based on OH clinical judgment, a telephone assessment is undertaken if necessary to clarify and obtain further information regarding health issues declared. In our experience, and depending on the organisation’s health risks, approximately one third of all questionnaires require telephone assessment.

InterHealth provides an initial paper-based health assessment and follows this up with a telephone or face-to-face assessment as required.
