The Geosentinel study emphasised the importance of effective post-assignment screening for identifying any health issues, ranging from communicable diseases, psychological health issues (primarily cumulative stress) or the exacerbation of a pre-existing health condition.

With the exception of those abroad for short periods of time, we recommend that mission partners should have a mid or post assignment medical. These medicals are designed to discuss any known health concerns as well as to screen for potential health problems before they cause symptoms.

We provide a Confidential Review as an opportunity to explore personal matters and to support resilience and psychological health or alternatively a Psychological Review, which provides organisations with a brief clearance report.
