The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)

InterHealth can provide specialist input, advice and assessment to comply with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) 2002. The regulations include exposure to biological agents, latex, chemicals and sources of infection.


New and expectant mothers risk assessment

Why carry out this assessment?

  • To ensure you undertake the correct risk assessment for new and expectant mothers.
  • To meet legislative requirements.

What does it involve?

  • A paper-based risk assessment is completed by the employee’s line  manager, or other appropriate person, with the expectant mother.
  • If the risk assessment identifies health problems a referral to InterHealth’s OH team may be made.
