Having built up robust experience over the past 10 years, our Psychological Health team have expertise in supporting the well-being of those in Christian Ministry.

Many physical symptoms are manifestations of stress, anxiety and fatigue among those in Christian Ministry. Our holistic approach helps us to explore the issues with individuals early on, and provide the appropriate care and support before they become problematic.

Having a safe and confidential opportunity to review and reflect is key to supporting those in Christian Ministry so they can effectively process their experiences, offload burdens they may be carrying and be refreshed to focus on their mission ahead.

Our Ministry Review provides people with an unhurried, confidential opportunity to review their work and ministry from a personal perspective. The aim is to promote ongoing resilience and good psychological health. Advice and recommendations relevant to psychological health may be made. The appointment is completely confidential with no report given to the referring organisation. Also available to couples.

Work-life Balance Consultation

Taking a positive step to healthy balance
As research has shown, many in Christian Ministry find it difficult to strike a healthy balance, meeting their personal needs alongside the demands of ministry. Our work-life balance consultation provides an unhurried, confidential opportunity for individuals to review their work-life balance and discuss with a professional practitioner, strategies for achieving changes to enhance wellbeing and maximise their potential. This consultation includes a confidential Feedback Report which is available to the individual attending. Also available to couples.

General Consultation

Professional support for specific concerns and challenges
Sometimes particular circumstances or issues arise which may fall outside the scope of the pastoral care of the church. Referral to a professional at InterHealth who is familiar with the demands of Christian Ministry may be appropriate. The General Consultation is a confidential opportunity to discuss the issues, begin to come to terms with the troubling aspects and clarify options for a way forward. Also available to couples.

Extended consultation: 90 minutes
