HIV and Hepatitis B Protection Kit [without IV fluid]
Who for? Anyone travelling to areas where HIV and Hepatits B are common and where the sterility of medical equipment cannot be guaranteed. On balance we would recommend that one kit is appropriate for up to 5 adults travelling together. Larger groups should consider taking a further kit. You can purchase equipment suitable for children and babies separately from our first aid section.
What for? To give intravenous fluids and intravenous medication safely. It needs to be used by a health worker or someone trained to set up an intravenous drip.
