Who for? Solo travellers, volunteers, expatriates working short or long term and couples on short-term visits and placements. Families may wish to purchase more than one of these kits to ensure all subscribers of their family have access to sterile equipment. Comes in clear zipped packaging.
What for? Taking a blood sample, injecting antibiotics, inoculations, giving local anaesthetic when local needles and syringes cannot be trusted. Lancets for use in malaria blood tests. The cannula can be used for setting up an intravenous drip. The scalpel and suture & needle kit, available only in the Remote Destinations Kit, can be used in minor operations and for stitching wounds.
