Miles from anywhere? No internet access?

This card will allow you to access your medical records without the internet!

If you’re likely to be working in areas that have poor internet connection speeds, or no access at all, we can provide extra back-up to your online MyHealth account with a personal MyHealth personal health card.

For just £42 the MyHealth personal health card will provide you with access to your medical records. 

How it works

Your MyHealth card behaves like a USB stick. When your card is plugged it in to the USB point in your laptop or computer it will display the latest version of your medical record through a special MyHealth interface. If you have access to the internet you can click to update your records from the InterHealth patient database.

The benefits of having a card on your international pursuits:

• If you have an accident emergency medical information is available without the use of your password – eg. Blood group and allergies.
   
• Access and share your medical records without internet access.
   
• If InterHealth adds information to your medical record while you’re away (eg. Blood results come through), you can update your card whenever you have internet connection.
   
• Light and easy to transport (made from lightweight alloy).
   
• Secure and safe – no application needs to be downloaded onto the computer you use to view the information and there is no way your information can be left behind once the card is unplugged.
   
• You can plug you card into a local doctors machine and view your records together during consultation.

What won't i be able to access on the personal health card?

The following features won't be available on your personal health card but having access to your medical records when you're in a remote area without internet access is invaluable:

• Information sheets on a whole host of travel and health related topics
• Travel health news updates and outbreak alerts
• Direct access to initiating an email dialogue with an InterHealth expert

Safety and Security

If you loose your card, don’t worry, other people won’t be able to access your details by plugging your card into the nearest computer. Your card will be encrypted with a unique password, only accessible by you. If you report your card as lost or stolen, the next time the card is recognised as being plugged in we can wipe it clean!

If you do lose your card, let us know immediately so we can wipe it clean.
