Expedition 50 Plus Insect Repellent Spray 100ml

Expedition 50 Plus contains 50% DEET and natural oils. The DEET will repel insects but if they do land on you the natural oils help to stop the insects bite. Available as a lotion or spray.

DEET is considered safe for use in adults, pregnant women, and children over 2 months of age. Care should be taken when using DEET on young children. Use sufficient repellent to be effective and do not apply DEET to children's hands. There is some evidence that DEET can reduce the protection offered by sunscreen products by 33-50% when applied on the same area. We suggest you use a higher SPF sunscreen product and reapply this more frequently to avoid sunburn, if using a DEET repellent at the same time. Apply sun cream first, allowing a few minutes for it to be absorbed into the skin before applying insect repellents.

You can apply DEET repellent to cotton, linen and wool clothing. However, it can damage plastics (e.g. watch straps, sunglasses), paint, vinyl, leather and some synthetic fabrics.
