Cycle to Care Challenge - March 2011

Help us to make a bigger difference!

Why not get involved in our Cycle to Care Challenge and help us to continue our critical role in caring for those who make a difference worldwide?

We're hoping to raise £200,000 to better support those that make a difference around the world through events and donations via our JustGiving page. We believe that every person working to make a difference has the right to be supported to be resilient and healthy in their roles, and equipped to reduce the risks they face.

Many people dedicate their lives and careers to making a difference, to making our world a better, healthier and fairer place. Through aid and development projects, international mission work, volunteering overseas, or working charitably within the UK, millions of people worldwide invest their time and energy to serving those in need, fighting injustice, and reducing poverty and suffering.

Help us to meet our target
If you can't take part in the challenge, why not sponsor us instead? We would really value your support. No amount is too small. You can sponsor us online now by visiting our JustGiving page.

At InterHealth, our mission is to support the health and wellbeing needs of those who are working to make a difference. We want to support those who care by minimising the health risks they face and supporting them to stay well in their work.

    The Routes

The routes have been carefully designed with the interests of beginners, families and regular cyclists in mind. Younger cyclists must be confident and proficient as some road work is involved.

The suggested age is 12 and over, and all must be accompanied by an adult rider.

This event provides an enjoyable, well-organised and worry-free ride of either 25 or 50km, fully supported with clearly signed routes, wayside marshals, first-aid cover, bike-mechanics and pick-up vehicles.

Which one is best for you?

    • 25K challenge – for the less experienced cyclist
    • 50K challenge - for those who want a bit more of a challenge!

Bring the kids along and make it a family event, working together to raise money for the people who dedicate their lives and careers to making a difference. You can also show your support by passing on the details of the Cycle ride challenge to your friends and colleagues. Why not do it with a group of friends or family and race each other?

We've asked pioneering cyclist, Daniel Bent, to help us. So why not join him and the rest of the InterHealth team, dust off your cycle seat and spur your wheels into action. Learn about Dan and how he's supporting Care to Cycle.
