Ordering Medicines

Any items in the online shop marked [POM] are Prescription Only Medicines. If you order an item marked POM you must have taken advice from an InterHealth clinical staff member and completed our health questionnaire which will appear at the online checkout, to enable us to process your order. A new health questionnaire is required for every order for POMs, even if you have recently ordered from us. This can be completed online or downloaded from the list of forms below. All other standard travel supplies orders don't require the completion of a health questionnaire.

Useful Forms

We process all major credit and debit cards online, receive orders through the post and carry out telephone order transactions.

Low-Cost Malarone for subscibers

Malarone, although expensive, is effective at preventing malaria and generally has few
side-effects.

InterHealth recognises the need for our members to purchase Malarone and we remain committed to providing preferentially-priced Malarone to those involved in voluntary, aid, mission and development work.

InterHealth members are therefore able to purchase up to three boxes of Malarone at the preferential price of £22 per box (ex VAT)
– per person, per trip, for use in the line of work (not holidays unfortunately!). Subsequent boxes are at the price of £33.50 (ex VAT).

Medical advice should be sought from InterHealth, prior to ordering, to ensure the most appropriate malaria prevention medicine is going to be used.

The HowsarLock - a simple, sturdy and effective temporary door lock

The HowsarLock is a simple, sturdy and effective temporary door lock.  It is not designed to replace a permanent door lock but it does offer valuable additional security and peace of mind and acts as an effective deterrent for opportunistic break-ins.

HowsarLock won a gold medal in the International Inventions Show in Geneva in 2006 and a silver medal in the British Inventions Show in London in 2005.  The Suzy Lamplugh Trust who advise on personal safety matters promote the lock themselves. They chose to endorse it because they felt it encouraged travellers to be security conscious and aware of their surroundings.
