InterHealth

InterHealth supports a lot of individual travellers and their families, on everything from long-term travel to an overseas destination to gap-year trips abroad.

There are a lot of things to think about when you are preparing for a trip - we hope that your health will be top of your list!

The interhealth travelwellplan provides individuals and families with a unique range of travel health information and guidance. It is the most economical way to make use of our services and supplies.

  • I'm traveling with an organisation

If you are traveling with an organisation that has subscribed to the travelwellplan you will be covered under their subscription. This means you are automatically eligible for access to the Travel Health Advice Centre (THAC). Contact your HR  department for details of how to access your website. This site gives destination-specific health advice including fact sheets on health concerns such as malaria or rabies.  Recommendations about antimalarials, vaccinations and travel supplies are also provided.

If you are then book a Travel Health Consultation. If not there are several ways you can get advice.

Visit InterHealth’s Travel Health Clinic for an unhurried 30 minute consultation with an experienced nurse. We’ll consider the specific circumstances of your trip - including personal medical details, the length and destination of your trip and the type of work you will be doing. The nurse will provide a personalised immunisation plan and recommend appropriate malaria prevention, medications and travel supplies.
